Acccomodation:
Last December I moved out of shitty university-supplied prison-cell standard accomodation and into a private flat-share arrangement. Instead of paying £300+ a month for a stuffy 3x5m room, I now pay £180 for a double room the size of my living room back home in Hong Kong. The flatmates are now:
-The ever lovely Porcupine on Speed, my insane wifey-poo. Aka Tom, or ~
Xeolleth. Sharing a room with him is... an adventure. He is a filth wizard.
-A certain Benoit Moulanier, or Baba. Frenchie doing a media and photography course at Stevenson College. Sings all the time. Great stuff.
-Prasannna, Tom's own Brown Boy. Nicest man in the world, fantastic cook too. Learning to make a mean prawn curry off him.
New: Still haven't got the university to give me my money back, the bastards.
---
Tomorrow morning, I will have indigo-purple hair. I will take pictures modeling my underbust corset and put it up for sale. I will start filming that knitting video I've been planning and I will start resizing Prasanna's damn jeans! I will change my sleeping pattern so that I am no longer nocturnal [sleep at 4.00am, wake up at 2.00pm

]
New: Hair now shines violet under bright light.

The corset photos will probably have to wait a little longer - uni work, work and other things are piling up ahead of it in terms of priority.
---
I'm setting up a separate dA account to record and log all the knitting and sewing work I do. Eventually, when I find the guts and shamelessness, I'll start selling things off that too. I need the money, and though it breaks my heart, I'll try to sell the black underbust I've got.
New: New account is: =
SquirrelStudios! There's buggerall on it right now, but once I have the CSS for the journal sorted out, things should get going.
---
New: I have a job! I am now working as a tech-girl/shop assistant/jack of all trades at the Meadows Lamp Gallery. It's filled with simply the most amazingly beautiful and delicate things, and it's actually nice working there. Hope the feeling lasts! But anyhow, with the job I can now start paying up for my own share of the rent [poor Tom] and relax a little about finances. With some luck, I should have enough by the 11th to treat him a little on his own 19th birthday.

---
All in all, things are going well. Uni's alright, I'm living with a good man, and I'm happy where I am. Job's alright so far, and it's helping me get used to going to sleep at a normal hour again.
